Course Overview:
Public Integrity Investigations are designed to combat corruption of governmental employees that become involved in criminal misconduct on or off duty. Due to the sensitive nature of these investigations, a systemic and through approach must be adhered to.
This course is designed to take class participants through the various stages of a corruption investigation to include interviewing techniques, witness/victim states, evidence preparation, working with prosecutors, and courtroom presentation. Proactive investigative strategies will also be discussed to include undercover operations, entrapment considerations and various other tactics.
